A couple of weeks ago, Tatjana and I we have been to the Waitakere Ranges. This chain of hills with its vast forests spans from the west of Auckland to the west coast of New Zealand. The Ranges are a well known conservation area and the home of many New Zealand indigenous species like he Kauri Tree and the Weta. It also plays a role in the Maori culture.
But apart from these facts, it is just a lovely area that teleports you immediately into the jungle and that just 25km from Auckland Central, so it offers one of the best opportunities to get out of that hectic city live.
Well there is not really much to say apart from that I’ve got a few pictures to point out what this area looks like 🙂
